GETEC appoints Dr. Alexander Jawad as new Chief Human Resources Officer

Magdeburg, Germany, 1 December, 2025 – GETEC is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Alexander Jawad as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Dr. Jawad brings extensive international experience in human resources leadership, having held senior roles within the global HR organisation of IKEA and at Johnson Controls, among others. His strong academic and legal background in labour law, combined with his MBA, further highlights his ability to navigate complex organisational and regulatory landscapes.

In his new role, Dr. Jawad will lead the development and execution of HR policies and practices designed to enhance employee engagement, optimise talent management and support GETEC’s ambitious growth targets.

Reporting directly to the CEO Pierre-Alain Graf and serving as a member of the GETEC Executive Committee, Dr. Jawad will act as a key advisor on all people-related matters.
