Emmen, 26 March 2026 – GETEC, Europe's leading specialist in reliable, low-carbon energy and infrastructure solutions, announces two new appointments. Rukmini Glanard will be responsible for go-to-market activities in the Benelux area. In addition, Dr Urs Zimmerli has taken on executive oversight of GETEC.PARK.EMMEN. With this strengthening of its leadership team, GETEC is taking the next step to elevate its operations in the region.
The Benelux is a strategic market that plays a key role in the company's international vision. Organisations in the industrial, real estate, and public sectors are currently navigating an environment of increasing regulations, grid congestion, and ambitious sustainability targets. At the core of this strategy is GETEC.PARK.EMMEN, which serves as a high-quality ecosystem for industrial partners. To support these ambitions, GETEC has strengthened its leadership structure to work closely with local teams to achieve this growth.
Rukmini Glanard has been appointed to lead the region's commercial strategy. She also serves as Chief Business Officer & CEO International within GETEC since 2024. A native Belgian with more than thirty years of international experience, she brings deep local and executive insight to the Benelux. Throughout her career, Glanard has led sales, service, and marketing organisations in the chemical, IT, and telecommunications sectors successfully. She has also managed large-scale digitalisation and transformation programs.

Dr Urs Zimmerli has assumed executive oversight of the industrial park in Emmen. He also serves as CEO of GETEC Switzerland since 2023. Zimmerli has extensive experience successfully managing industrial parks. In this new role, he ensures stability and operational continuity while focusing on further developing the park’s high-quality ecosystem.
