From local provider to European leader

Since starting in 1993 as a heating solutions provider for the housing market in Germany, GETEC has achieved tremendous growth, extending our unique value proposition to serve energy-intensive industries. We now operate more than 11,000 plants in seven European countries. This successful expansion has enabled us to integrate energy solutions that combine renewable generation, district and industrial utility networks, and digital energy management.

Through innovative supply models and long-term partnerships, GETEC helps customers decarbonise, optimise costs and ensure reliable, future-ready operations. We have a strong focus on customer sectors that have a high demand for energy and require reliable energy for their processes and core operations. We prioritise decarbonisation technologies and renewable fuel sources while implementing advanced digital solutions that generate customer value.

GETEC is wholly owned since 2022 by the Infrastructure Investments Fund (IIF), a long-term dedicated investment vehicle advised by J.P. Morgan. The IIF has a portfolio of companies that provide essential infrastructure for community services, such as renewable energy, water, natural gas, utilities and transportation, and is responsible for generating long-term returns for pension beneficiaries, growing the retirement funds for more than 60 million families.
