Established in 1993 in Magdeburg, GETEC in Germany has offices in 15 cities and serves customers in real estate, municipalities and a range of industries. With extensive expertise in various technological solutions, district heating and climate-neutral industrial solutions, GETEC in Germany acts as a competence centre for the entire GETEC organisation. This enables customers from all over Europe to benefit from the energy solutions developed by the Germany team. More than 1,000 employees help customers navigate the increasingly complex energy world, with engineering know-how, regulatory competence and sustainability expertise.

Geothermal energy powers new residential district in Bayreuth

At the innovative residential quarter “joseph” by the developer CONCEPT BAU GmbH, in Bayreuth, Germany, GETEC is providing the solution to sustainably tap into geothermal energy.

Dr. Guido Zimmermann

CEO Germany & CTO

Guido began his career at the pharmaceutical company Schering AG, now Bayer AG. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GETEC Germany in March 2026, in addition to being the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) of GETEC since July 2023. Before joining GETEC, he was the COO Western Europe at Bilfinger Industrial Services, helping the company achieve strong growth. He later took on interim management roles in medium-sized companies in need of consolidation and change.

Christian Willing

CFO Germany

Christian holds a degree in business administration from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and joined GETEC in April, 2025. He brings two decades of leadership experience, including seven years as CFO in Germany, Italy and Spain. His expertise covers restructuring, change management, sustainability, equity funding and project financing, as well as negotiations with workers councils and employee representatives.

Dr. Henning Lustermann

Senior Vice President Sales Germany

Henning holds a law degree from the University of Münster. After several years working as a lawyer, he switched to the energy and real estate industries. He joined GETEC Germany in March 2023 as the CEO for the real estate segment and was appointed Senior Vice President Sales in March 2025. Prior to this, he held management positions at E.ON Energy Solutions, innogy SE and EnergyServicePlus.

Dirk Blume

Senior Vice President Project Execution Germany

Dirk studied electrical engineering at TU Dortmund University. He worked for several years as a research assistant and earned his doctorate in engineering in the field of energy technology. In April, 2023, he took over the management of the EMSR industry at GETEC and was later tasked with redesigning the company's project execution. In June, 2025, he become Senior Vice President of Project Execution, just before Project Execution and Operations were merged under the Technology umbrella.
